Six months after flipping from Classic Rock “ClassX Radio” to Christian Classic Hits “Touch-FM“, Spryex Communications has reversed the format change on 88.9 WMWX Miamitown/Cincinnati, 89.1 WYNS Waynesville and three LPFMs: RGS Communications’ 92.1 WCNX-LP Covington KY, SGM Inc.’s 95.5 WCXE-LP Erlanger KY, and 24-7 Broadcasting’s 105.5 WCXX-LP Cincinnati OH.
The stations had dropped the “ClassX Radio” brand on Easter Sunday. The format relaunched at 9a on Friday, November with the start of a 25 day countdown of their “Top 500 Rock Albums” played in their entirety.
Previous simulcaster 89.1 WKCX Crittenden KY was sold to Somerset Educational Broadcasting Foundation last month for $275,000. It will join Somerset’s Christian Preaching “King of Kings Radio“
