Bold Gold Media has dropped the Sports format on “1400 The Game” WICK Scranton/1440 WCDL Carbondale PA and their translators 93.5 W228CN Clarks Summit and 106.7 W294BJ Honesdale.
At 1pm on Sunday the station flipped to Oldies as “The Mothership” focusing on music from the 50s through early 70s. The station lists Elvis, Fats Domino, Beach Boys, Bobby Rydell, Supremes, Roy Orbison, Coasters, Drifters, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, Everly Brothers, The Four Tops, Rascals, The Crests, Rick Nelson, Jay and the Americans, and Connie Francis as core artists.
WICK/WCDL had been carrying Premiere Networks’ Fox Sports Radio lineup. WICK flipped from Oldies to Sports in 2006 along with 1340 WYCK Plains and 1590 WPSN Honesdale. Those stations have since moved to new formats, while WCDL joined the Sports programming in 2011.
