Boyd Matheson will depart as host of “Inside Sources” from 1-3pm on Bonneville News/Talk 1160 KSL Salt Lake City/102.7 KSL-FM Midvale UT right after the election.
Matheson joined KSL in March 2020 after previously serving as Opinion Editor/Head of Strategic Reach for the Salt Lake City Deseret News. He has also been Director of Corporate Communication for Symantec and Chief of Staff for US Senator Mike Lee.
Matheson said, “Working at KSL has been an incredible journey. I am grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the relationships I’ve built here and look forward to applying some of the things I have learned in my next chapter. It has been my privilege to get to engage with the remarkable people of Utah and I will be forever grateful for the interactions and conversations I had with so many.”
Bonneville Chief Content Officer Ruth Todd said, “Throughout his tenure, Boyd has been a daily voice of reason tackling the complex issues of our time and providing thoughtful analysis and insights for our audiences. His hard work and genuine passion for making a difference in the world has been inspiring to both colleagues and the community, and he will be greatly missed”
His final day will be November 8.
