Audacy has promoted Bob Mackay from Vice President of Sales to SVP/Market Manager in Dallas.

Mackay joined the Dallas cluster in January 2024 after previously serving as Market Manager for the company’s Austin cluster from 2020 to 2024 and General Sales Manager in Houston from 2016-20. Mackay has also spent eight years as Director of Sales for Radio One Houston, five years as General Sales Manager for Cox Radio Houston, was VP/Director of National Sales for Emmis Communications, General Sales Manager for Clear Channel Houston, and Director of Sales for Trumper Communications Salt Lake City.

He will take the day-to-day oversight of the Dallas market from Brian Purdy, who continues as Regional President overseeing sixteen of Audacy’s markets. Mackay said, ““I am grateful for Brian Purdy’s mentorship over the past year, which has prepared me for this new role with Audacy Dallas-Fort Worth. I am thrilled to be working alongside the great team that has been assembled here over many years.
