Roger Haddon’s Sunbury Broadcasting is breaking up its cluster in Sunbury/Selinsgrove PA as it sells AC “100.9 The Valley” WVLY-FM Milton to Vic Michael’s Michael Radio Company for $410,000. Michael previously purchased 1380 WMLP/94.5 W233CP Milton from Sunbury Broadcasting in 2019, which simulcasts Backyard Broadcasting of Pennsylvania (owned by Michael’s brother Van) Conservative Talk 1340 WWPA Williamsport. Sunbury Broadcasting retains CHR “94 KX” WQKX, Classic Rock “Eagle 107” WEGK, and News/Talk 1070 WKOK.
Adam and Danielle Dauwen’s RADD Media are acquiring Classic Hits 1490 KNDC/106.7 K294DG Hettinger ND and Country/Oldies 1400 KBJM/104.9 K285HH Lemmon SD from companies owned by Michael Schweitzer. RADD will pay $265,000 for Schweitzer Media’s KNDC/K294DG and $370,000 for Media Associates Inc’s KBJM/K285HH. The deal includes the station real estate assets. Danielle Dauwen currently serves as Business Manager for KBJM.
Marc McMain’s Sugar Valley Broadcasting will purchase Classic Country “Real Country Q92.3” WMOQ Bostwick and Oldies 1490 WKUN/102.5 W273DL Monroe GA from the estate of Bennie Ray Anderson’s Bostwick Broadcasting for $395,000.
After agreeing to purchase 1480 WLEA/106.9 W295CW and 92.1 WCKR Hornell NY last November, Bob Savage’s Radio Livingston has filed to acquire the stations from Dawn Ichikawa’s GRI Telecom for $160,000 and its real estate for an additional $20,000. Savage flipped WLEA from News/Talk and WCKR from CHR “Fun 92.1” to simulcasts of his Conservative Talk 1040 WYSL Avon/92.1 W221CL Rochester when he began operating via LMA.
Columbus Community Radio transfers its CP for 91.1 WAWA Columbus WI to Radio 74 Internationale for no consideration.
The estate of Saul Rosenzweig’s RZ Radio sells “Fox Sports 610” KAVL Lancaster CA to Steve Rubin’s Rubin Broadcasting for $5000. The deal does not include the station’s tower property, which Rubin will have no rights to use beyond 30 days of closing. KAVL is currently operated via Time Brokerage Agreement by Point Broadcasting, which owns KAVL’s translator 106.7 K294DA Rosamond. Rubin purchased RZ Radio’s 1340 KTPI Mojave in October for $40,000, while RZ is in the process of selling Country 97.7 KTPI-FM Mojave to K-Love Inc. for $300,000.
