An automobile lost control speeding through an intersection at around 80 miles per hour on Friday and crashed into the building of JLE Incorporated’s Coast Radio Group killing office administrator Elizabeth Thornburg.
The 59 year old Thornburg was killed as the BMW plowed through the building. Three others were injured including the driver and a passenger. The Biloxi Sun-Herald reports that all three are hospitalized in stable condition.
Coast Radio Group operates CHR “95.3 Gorilla” WZNF Lumberton, Classic Hits “Coast 102” 102.3 WGCM-FM Gulfport, Country “Kicker 108” WZKX Bay St. Louis, Oldies “Cruisin” 1240 WGCM/100.9 W265DH Gulfport, and Classic Country “Merle 100.1” 1390 WROA/100.1 W261CU Poplarville from its Gulfport studios.

How sad this is! 80 mph doesn’t seem like an “accident “.
May the deceased woman rest in piece.

How come whenever there’s a cluster of radio stations involved, you always use the country station in the story?
In this case it was the first logo that we were able to get in a usable size. I think you’ll find we try to use the most listened to station in a cluster when possible.
