Mandy Williamson will move from afternoons at LM Communications Hot AC “Hits 106.3” WCDA Versailles/Lexington KY to sister Classic Hits “Kiss 96.9” WGKS Stamping Ground starting Monday, March 30.

Williamson has been with WCDA since January 2017 hosting mornings with Jimmy Phillips until October 2022 when she moved to afternoons under the name “Mandy & Friends” where she was joined first by current WBTF afternoon host Shayna and later rotating guests. Before arriving in Lexington, Williamson spent eight years at CHR “Island 106” WILN Panama City where she was part of multiple morning shows rising from intern to lead host.

Program Director Patrick Scott commented, “Moving Mandy & Friends to Kiss 96.9 is an exciting step for both Mandy and the station. Mandy has a strong connection with listeners and a proven track record in afternoons. We’re thrilled to introduce her show to the Kiss audience while continuing to grow the brand.” He continued, “Wayne brings a ton of energy and entertainment to the airwaves. He’s built a strong connection with our listeners at night, and we’re excited for him to bring that same excitement to afternoons on Hits 106.3.”

Afternoons at WGKS have been remotely tracked by Randi West since August 2024. Evening host Wayne will move up to afternoons to succeed Williamson at WCDA.
