Oklahoma City based Perry Broadcasting is expanding to Fayetteville AR via a pair of acquisitions. Perry will acquire 1340 KFMD Bethel Heights from Hog Radio for $350,000 and 105.3 K287AN Fayetteville from Don Campbell for $50,000. The two stations currently air a Christian AC format as “105.3 The Voice” but will likely flip to Perry’s specialty within the Urban realm.

In the southeast suburbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Religious Information Network sells Christian AC “The Remnant” 88.1 WAJC Newport MN to Maranatha Assembly of God Church for $52,000.

Susan Nilon sells her 50% stake and 100% voting interest in Florida Talk Radio, owner of Talk 1220 WSRQ/106.9 W295BH Sarasota FL to partner Jim Lampl for $10,000.

Larry Fuss’ Delta Radio and Delta Radio Network have filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and has had the stations placed under Debtor In Possession status. Delta owns Country “Kix 92.1” WKXY Merigold/102.7 W274AW Renova, AC “Lite 97.9” WLTM Greenville, Hot AC “Q102” 102.3 WIQQ Leland, Country “Delta Country 105.5” WNOU Indianola, Talk 1330 WNIX/101.1 W266BY Greenville, and Gospel 1380 WNLA Indianola MS. Delta also operates Urban “104.7 The Beat” WIBT Greenville via LMA.

William Rainer and Van Hoisington are buying partner Edward Knetzger out of New Braunfels Communications. Rainer will increase his stake from 50 to 83%, while Hoisington grows from 10 to 17%. The purchase price was not included in the transfer application. New Braunfels Communications owns Americana 92.1 KNBT and Full Service Country 1420 KGNB New Braunfels TX.

Ronnie Joyner Ministries acquires Gospel/Urban Oldies 105.5 WHLQ Lawrenceville VA from Brunswick County Broadcasting for $149,000.

The Great Marathon Radio Company sells their four stations in the Florida Keys to Tradewinds Radio for $750,000. The stations included in the purchase are Classic Hits trimulcast “The Mix” 93.7 WKEY-FM Key West/94.3 WGMX Marathon/96.9 WKEZ-FM Tavernier and News/Talk 1300 WFFG Marathon.

FMI Media sells the CP for 101.5 KOCD Okeene OK to Liberdad En Cristo Ministries for $25,200.

Translator Sales

M-10 Broadcasting is converting their lease of 99.9 K260BV Aberdeen MD to a purchase as Hope Christian Church of Marlton sells the station for $150,000. K260BV rebroadcasts M-10’s Classic Hits “Q1370” WQLL Pikesville/Baltimore.

New Albany Broadcasting is purchasing 101.9 W270CR Okolona KY from Celebration Ministries for $1 plus an estimated $75,000 in costs to move the translator to the tower of 91.9 WFPK via a Mattoon Waiver to rebroadcast Regional Mexican “La Poderosa 1570” WNDA New Albany IN.

Steven Greeley purchases 93.3 K227CS Kingman AZ from Donald Hendren for $30,000. K227CS will rebroadcast Murphy Broadcasting AC “Kasual 104.5” KZUL-FM Lake Havasu City.

Greeley and Hendren are also swapping translators as Greeley gives 96.3 K242AS Bullhead City AZ to Hendren and Hendren gives 106.3 K292EU Laughlin NV to Greeley. K292EU already rebroadcasts Talk “KNTR” via 102.3 KJJJ-HD2. K242AS will continue to rebroadcast Chinese 93.5 KADD Logandale.

Benjamin Shafer acquires the CP for 97.5 K248CE Davenport IA from Edgewater Broadcasting for $40,000. K248CE is licensed to rebroadcast EMF’s 88.9 KAIP Wapello.

Frandsen Media Group purchases the CP for 93.7 K229CR Logan UT from Jerrold Lundquist for $19,000 to rebroadcast an HD subchannel Classic Rock 95.9 KLZX Weston ID/Logan.

Montana Radio Company will acquire 107.9 K300CR Canyon Creek MT from Hi-Line Radio Fellowship in exchange for a Crown FM250T Transmitter.

Robert Ramos purchases the CP for 93.1 K226BY Huntsville TX from Gerald Proctor for $35,000. Ramos seeks to rebroadcast Siga Broadcasting’s South Asian 1480 KLVL Pasadena/Houston.
