iHeartMedia has promoted Tommy Chuck to Senior Vice President of Programming for its Tampa and Sarasota markets.
Chuck has worked for iHeart since 2000 working his way through Chattanooga, Birmingham, and Orlando before spending 2007-2015 as Program Director of CHR 93.3 WFLZ and Hot AC “Mix 100.7” WMTX Tampa. He then moved to Washington/Baltimore as PD of CHR “Hot 99.5” WIHT Washington DC and Country 93.1 WPOC Baltimore before giving up WPOC and adding those duties at AC 97.1 WASH-FM Washington last year.
In addition to overseeing programming in both markets, Chuck will serve as Program Director of Country “US 103.5” WFUS.

As Area Senior Vice President of Programming, Tommy will work with local programmers to oversee all aspects of on-air and digital programming as well as personalities in the Tampa and Sarasota Markets. Tommy will also serve as the Program Director for US 103.5, Tampa Bay’s No. 1 For New Country. He will report to Sam Nein, Area President for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay.

Tommy rejoins the Tampa Bay Area from iHeartMedia’s Baltimore/DC Region, where he most recently served as the Program Director for DC’s most listened to radio stations, HOT 99.5 and 97.1 WASH-FM as well as Baltimore’s Country station WPOC-FM. Tommy has worked for iHeartMedia since 2001 serving in programming roles in Chattanooga, TN, Birmingham, AL and Orlando FL, before spending eight years in Tampa FL as Program Director of WFLZ FM.
