Patrick Sickafus has sold Rock 92.1 WTPA Palmyra/Harrisburg PA to Educational Media Foundation for $750,000.
The station will become part of EMF’s “K-Love” Christian AC network which is currently heard in Harrisburg on 101.7 W269AS Carlisle.
Sickafus purchased the station from Cumulus’ Potential Broadcasting Trust in 2012 for $530,000. Cumulus moved the Rock format from 93.5 to 92.1 as part of its mandated spin-offs to complete its then acquisition of Citadel. The station has featured a Rock format dating back to its launch on 104.1 in 1980. It then moved to 93.5 in 1985 and 92.1 in 2011.
The seller is a touring Country artist under the name Pat Garrett who owns a sheepskin store and Classic Country 1510 WWSM Annvile-Cleona.
