Jeff Miles has found a temporary gig as interim morning host at Entercom Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC Detroit. Miles, the former morning host at 102.5 WKLB Boston and “Y100” KCYY San Antonio will fill the slot created by the departure of Bobby Mitchell and Stacey DuFord at the end of 2017 until a new show is in place. Miles has also hosted middays at Cumulus CHR “Q100” WWWQ Atlanta and afternoons at 95.5 WPLJ New York during his career.
Beasley Media Urban “Power 98” 97.9 WPEG Concord/Charlotte NC has promoted Music Director/Morning co-host Brian ‘Mr. Incognito’ Robinson to Assistant Program Director.
Beasley Media Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Brian “Mr. Incognito” Robinson has been promoted to the position of Assistant Program Director at WPEG-FM/Power 98-FM. He will begin his new position immediately.
Robinson has been with the station since 1997, serving as the Music Director and Co-host for the No Limit Larry Morning Madd House Morning show.
“I would like to thank Operations Manager Jeff Anderson and General Manager Bill Schoening for the opportunity,” said Robinson. “I’m looking forward to take my passion for radio to the next level. I’m very excited!”
He will continue to work in his current roles, in addition to his new position.

Following the termination of two hosts in December over harassment allegations, New York Public Radio has transferred Chief Content Officer Dean Cappello into an advisory role with no employees reporting to him.
Former CBC Radio Director of Business Strategy and American Public Media Senior Vice President Judy McAlpine has been named President of USC Radio Group overseeing University of Southern California’s 12 Classical stations including 91.5 KUSC Los Angeles and 90.3 KDFC San Francisco.
Chachi Loprete, who exited Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX Boston when iHeartMedia acquired the station from CBS Radio in November, is moving his “Breakfast With the Beatles” to University of Massachusetts AAA 91.9 WUMB on Saturday mornings from 6-10am starting February 10.
