Eric Garcia has exited his positions as Audio Revenue Chief of Spanish Broadcasting System and VP/GM of Spanish AC “93.1 Amor” WPAT-FM Paterson NJ and Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ New York.
Garcia joined SBS in 2004 as an Account Executive for WPAT/WSKQ before rising to National Sales Manager in 2010, VP/Sales in 2011, and his current positions in October 2014. His father Joseph Garcia serves as Secretary, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, and member of the Board of Directors of SBS.
In a brief statement, Spanish Broadcasting System General Counsel Richard Lara wrote, “SBS confirms the departure of Eric Garcia, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
SBS Chief Operating Officer Albert Rodriguez will serve as interim General Manager of WPAT/WSKQ and Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Paulino has been promoted to General Sales Manager from Local Sales Manager.
