After being let go as morning co-host at Entercom CHR “B96” WBBM-FM at the end of March, Michelle ‘Showbiz Shelley’ Menaker has quickly rebounded by joining iHeartMedia CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC for a 10am-12pm slot.
Shelley will also contribute to the Fred & Angi Morning Show with a segment at 7:45am daily. She spent 13 years at WBBM-FM as part of multiple iterations of its morning show until her departure last month.
iHeartMedia Chicago announced today that Showbiz Shelly has been named Midday Host for 103.5 KISS FM, Chicago’s #1 Hit Music Station, effective immediately. The iHeartMedia Chicago Region has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing six stations comprised of CHR, AC, Hip Hop and R&B, New Country and Contemporary Inspirational music formats.

Shelly will report to Tommy Austin, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region.

Shelly, a Chicago native, is the former morning show co-host for WBBM-FM. She is a regular entertainment contributor to CBS and FOX, and has also appeared on NBC, ABC and TMZ. Shelly is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism where she was head of the Arts and Entertainment division for the Northwestern News Network.
