Longport Media has sold CHR “AC 102.7” WWAC Ocean City/Atlantic City NJ to Educational Media Foundation for $570,000.
As with all of its acquisitions, EMF plans to convert the station to non-commercial status as it will likely bring the Christian AC “K-Love” format to the station upon closing of the deal.
Longport Media VP/Broadcast Operations Paul Kelly told the Press of Atlantic City, “This transaction puts us in an even stronger financial position to deliver compelling content for our listeners and tangible results for our advertisers across all of our stations and platforms.”
Longport Media will retain Classic Hits “Kool 98.3” WTKU Petersburg/1490 WBSS Pleasantville, Rock 103.7 WMGM Atlantic City, and News/Talk 1400 WOND Pleasantville following the sale of WWAC.
