KGME Completes Revamp With Addition Of Dan Sileo For Afternoons

Fox Sports 910 KGME Phoenix Arizona CoyotesFollowing yesterday’s announcement of Jody Oehler’s move from afternoons to mornings, iHeartMedia Sports “Fox Sports 910” KGME Phoenix has completed its schedule revamp with the addition of Dan Sileo to host afternoons from 4-7pm.

Sileo most recently hosted mornings at Entercom Sports “97.3 The Fan” KWFN San Diego and fill-ins at 93.7 WEEI-FM Boston. The former football player and professional wrestler has also worked at KGO/KNBR/KTCT in San Francisco, WDAE Tampa, WFXJ Jacksonville, WQTM/WYGM Orlando, WMEN West Palm Beach, WQAM Miami and Fox Sports Radio.

Fox Sports 910, The Home of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today the debut of the “Dan Sileo Show,” effective September 3. The “Dan Sileo Show” will broadcast weekday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The evening show will feature engaging sports talk with features such as Cardinals Rewind, where Sileo analyzes the Cardinals by recapping the biggest hits and misses from each game, and Stump Sileo, a daily segment where listeners have the opportunity to challenge Sileo to a game of six degrees of separation, in which Sileo has to find a way to connect himself to the listener’s favorite sports icon.

“Sileo’s unparalleled passion and enthusiasm for Sports Talk make him the perfect host for afternoon drive on FOX Sports 910,” said Aaron Trimmer, Program Director for Fox Sports 910. “We’re thrilled to have one of the country’s best hosts join our market-leading program lineup.”

Sileo has an extensive track record in the professional sports arena. Throughout his career, he has played professional football for the National Football League (NFL), Canadian Football League (CFL), NFL Europe League and was a former World Championship Wrestler. He was also a 3rd round selection for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1988 NFL Draft, selected as an All-American Defensive Tackle for the 1986 Miami Hurricanes Football team and was also a member of the 1987 National Championship Miami Hurricanes Football team. Since retiring from professional sports, Sileo has worked in radio for over two decades and has held several on-air roles across the country, including evening host in San Francisco and morning drive host in Tampa, Miami and San Diego. He was also ranked as one of the nation’s Top 25 Sports Talk Host by Radio Ink and Talkers Magazine.
