Cumulus Media flipped Classic Hits “106.7 The Krewe” KKND Port Sulphur/New Orleans LA to Hot AC at 10am today.
Keeping the “Krewe” name, KKND is now positioning as “New Orleans’ Variety” and will add the syndicated Bert Show for mornings.
The Classic Hits format goes out with a 1.1 share in the July 2020 Nielsen Audio ratings. The new format will position KKND between Entercom AC “Magic 101.9” WLMG and CHR “B97” WEZB, which ranked fourth and fifth in the market with a 5.0 and 4.9 share respectively.

CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it launched a new Hot AC radio station this week in New Orleans, LA, 106.7 The Krewe/KKND-FM. The station kicked off its new high-energy format on Tuesday, September 8th, at 10:00am Central, with Lizzo’s “Good As Hell”. 106.7 The Krewe plays a variety of today’s hottest hits and favorite throwbacks, including music from Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles and Maroon 5, among others. The weekday programming lineup will include “The Bert Show” in Mornings from 5:00am-9:00am, with “The Adam Bomb Show” in Afternoon Drive from 3:00pm-7:00pm. The former Classic Hits station also debuted its new website at: www.1067thekrewe.com.
