Alpha Media has promoted Amanda ‘Ice’ Habrowski to Content Director of CHR “Live 95.5” KBFF Portland.
Habrowski has been with KBFF since 2014 first as evening host and later added Music Director and then Assistant Program Director duties while moving to middays. She assumes the day-to-day programming duties from Alpha Media Executive VP of Content Phil Becker, who she also worked with at “Hot 107.9” WJFX Fort Wayne IN from 2011 to 2014 where she hosted afternoons. Habrowski began her career in her native Detroit at WDRQ and WKQI. Her ‘Ice’ moniker was given to her by rapper Flavor Flav as a contestant on the VH1 dating show “Flavor of Love”
Alpha Media announced that Amanda “ICE” Habrowski has been named as content director of Live 95.5 KBFF-FM in Portland, Oregon.
A 16-year veteran of radio, Habrowski commented, “I am beyond thrilled to be named Content Director of Live 95.5. I’ve believed in this station and vision since moving to Portland six years ago and can’t wait to continue to grow our brand and make waves in the Rose City. I am proud and honored to be an example for women in this industry that if you put your mind to it, you can do it all. Thanks to Phil Becker for everything. And all of you who believe in me and helped coach me to be the best I can be, here’s to another 16 years, radio!”
