Bonneville Sports “710 ESPN” KIRO Seattle has revised its schedule as three hosts and two producers have been let go in COVID-19 related budget cuts.
The Seattle Times reports that hosts John Clayton, Jim Moore and Tom Wassell have exited the station, while Barrett Sports Media notes producers Matt Taylor and Scott Blumenfeld were also let go.
Paul Gallant and Danny O’Neil will remain in mornings from 7-10am, but Gallant will add a solo hour at 10 to make up half of Clayton’s timeslot. Stacy Jo Rost and Jake Heaps will move up from 12-3pm to 11am-2pm while Wassell departs that show. The afternoon show of Bob Stelton and Dave Wyman sans Jim Moore will move from 3-7pm to 2-6pm with best-of replays in the 6pm hour.
The Times notes that Clayton, the longtime NFL writer and ESPN contributor, will continue as sideline reporter on Seattle Seahawks broadcasts at least through the end of the season.
