Lotus Communications’ Hot AC “Star 101.5” KPLZ-FM Seattle has filled its Program Director opening with the appointment of Lisa Adams, while confirming the addition of John Moug and Angie Parker for mornings and adding Julian Nieh for afternoons.
Adams will make her return to Seattle after spending the past 2+ years as PD/morning host at Cumulus Soft AC “Magic 97.9” KQFC Boise. She has previously programmed multiple stations in Seattle with stints leading Rhythmic AC “Movin 92.5” KQMV, 1980s Hits “96.5 The Point” KYPT, Modern AC “Click 98.9” KLCK, and Country “98.9 The Bill” KNUC. She has also served as Operations Manager for Townsquare Media Boise and programmed 107.5 Portland under multiple formats. Adams will also host middays from 11am-3pm. She fills the opening created by Kent Phillips’ retirement after 35 years at the helm of KPLZ.
Moug and Parker departed Townsquare Media Hot AC “Mix 106” 105.9 KCIX Boise earlier this month only stating Seattle was their next destination. Moug has previously hosted mornings in San Diego, Denver and a syndicated show that aired in Hartford and New London CT, Burlington VT and Searcy AR. He has also had three stints at CHR 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas and a brief run in nights at “Hot 101.5” WPOI Tampa. Parker previously worked with Moug at KLUC and the syndicated show.
Nieh joins KPLZ after most recently tracking nights and afternoons at CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV Seattle and in other markets. He has previously hosted nights at WIHT Washington DC, nights and mornings at WBBM-FM Chicago, and afternoons at KZZP Phoenix and KYLD San Francisco. He will continue to track afternoons on “Live 95.5” KBFF Portland, middays at 99.7 WDJX Louisville, and weekends on “99.7 Now” KMVQ San Francisco.
STAR 101.5/KPLZ (Seattle) is thrilled to announce that Lisa Adams will be joining Lotus Seattle as Program Director.
Adams, a Pacific Northwest native and 30+ year radio veteran, has worked in west coast markets including Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Portland, Boise, Seattle and points in between. She most recently comes from Cumulus Media Boise station, Magic 97.9 where she served as both program director and midday host.

She’s a mom of 3 boys, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She and her family love to travel. Additionally, Lisa is a certified life and wellness coach. She’s wildly passionate about live music, craft vodkas, and quality time with her family.
