Cox Media Group Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ Miami has announced its new morning show hosted by Bobby Mitchell and Korby Ray.
Mitchell most recently hosted mornings at Saga AC “Sunny 95” WSNY Columbus from 2018 to 2021. He previously spent a decade in Miami co-hosting mornings on CHR “Y100” WHYI from 1988-98 and has also hosted mornings at Country “99.5 The Wolf” KPLX Dallas from 1998-06 and Classic Hits 104.3 WOMC Detroit from 2010-18.
Korby Ray moves to mornings from middays while continuing on as Assistant Program Director. Ray joined WFEZ in November 2020 after a long run in Myrtle Beach SC where she had stints at multiple stations including APD/morning host at Country “Gator 107.9” WGTR and morning co-host at Classic Rock “Wave 104.1” WYAV. She also recently began tracking nights at Cox Country “K92.3” WWKA Orlando.
Mitchell and Ray take the morning show slot previously held by Giselle Andres and Jeff Martin. Andres was let go from the station in April after seven years. Martin remained until last week.
