Audio 1 is launching the “Jason Lee & Kluck” morning show into national syndication.
Based at Federated Media Rock “103.9 The Bear” WRBR-FM South Bend IN since 2010 and also heard on sister “98.9 The Bear” WBYR Fort Wayne since May 2020, the show will enter national distribution through Audio 1 on Monday, October 2. Jason Lee previously hosted mornings on WIRX-FM Benton Harbor MI, while co-host Warren Kluck previous co-hosted mornings at WKLQ Grand Rapids and WRKR Kalamazoo.
Audio 1 will also take over distribution of the duo’s “Here’s Your Freakin’ Podcast”.
Audio 1 is proud to announce the signing of the powerhouse Indiana Morning Show “Jason Lee & Kluck” for national distribution. The highly successful show owned by Federated Media originated in 2010 in South Bend on the rock station 103.9 The Bear (WRBR-FM) and is now also heard on 98.9 The Bear in Fort Wayne (WBYR-FM) as well.
A combined 40 years of radio experience has helped Jason Lee and Warren “Kluck” create the kind of show inclusive to the whole family. As a result, the show dominates morning drive in both markets (#1 in both markets P 18-34, P 25-54, and M 18-34 and M 25-54). Warren is especially excited for the show’s new opportunity, “We’re beyond thrilled that a company as well-regarded as Audio 1 would show such a glaring lack of judgement in believing that our lunacy should be foisted upon a larger public.”
Beginning Monday October 2nd, Audio 1 will take on the rights to distribute the show to all markets across the country. Based in Dallas, TX, Audio 1 already represents several talk and music products, but Director of Programming, Mike Ragz says JL&K bring unique talents to their platform. “We are energized to find a show with irreverence and fun for everyone that not only plays on a rock format in the mid-west, but that can play on ANY format in any market.”
The show will continue to air from 6am to 10am (Eastern) daily. Jason Lee & Kluck also produce a very successful and growing weekly podcast, “Here’s Your Freakin’ Podcast” that Audio 1 will also begin to distribute globally.
