Emily Boldon is exiting her positions as Atlanta Director of Operations, Program Director of Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV and AC “B98.5” WSB-FM, and corporate Director of AC and Hot AC Content for Cox Media Group.

In a social media post announcing her departure, Boldon wrote, “Looking to the future… my personal focus is shifting and that means that my time working with these great stations, and even better people, is coming to an end. I am touched by my colleagues for their partnership and appreciate my great Leaders – Rob Babin and Chris Eagan- who are supportive of my decision and have asked me to lead these stations through the holiday. I’m not ready to announce my next “big thing” yet, but after taking some time in January to relax, recharge and be with family, you can trust that I will.”

Boldon first joined Cox in July 2022 as Interim Operations Manager for their San Antonio cluster before moving to her current role in October 2022. She previously had a long run with Cumulus Media starting in 2006 as Corporate Programming Software Trainer and later served as Vice President of AC & Stratus Music, and Program Director of AC “Lite Rock 105.1” WWLI Providence RI until departing in February 2022. She also has programmed “Rock 103.5” WRCQ Fayetteville NC using the on-air name Sydney Scott.
