Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, San Diego, Denver, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU retains its lead down 13.0 to 11.0. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP rises 7.6 to 7.9. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR inches up 7.4 to 7.5. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH slides 6.5 – 5.9 – 5.2. Cumulus Media Conservative Talk 105.9 WMAL rises 4.5 to 4.8.

Radio One Hip Hop 93.9 WKYS jumps up 3.8 to 4.7 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its largest share since October 2008. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.3/92.7” WMMJ/WDCJ is down 5.2 to 4.5.

iHeartMedia Country 98.7 WMZQ continues to rise 2.6 – 3.1 – 3.5 – 4.2. iHeart Classic Rock “Big 100” WBIG-FM is up 2.1 to 2.8.

Boston

Beasley Media Sports “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM extends its lead 9.1 to 9.7. Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR rises 6.0 to 6.5. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR-FM is up 6.1 to 6.4 for what Huff notes is the largest share in station history. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX surges up 2.8 – 4.5 – 4.9 – 5.9 for the largest share on the frequency since Spring 1991. Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX falls 6.7 – 6.4 – 5.7.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX is down 5.2 to 4.6. Public News/Talk 89.7 WGBH-FM slides 4.6 to 3.8.

iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 680 WRKO trends up 2.8 – 3.2 – 3.4, sister Country “101.7 The Bull” WBWL rises 1.6 – 1.7 – 2.1. iHeart Hip Hop “Jam’n 94.5” WJMN drops 2.4 to 1.9.

Cox Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT maintains its lead up 8.2 to 8.3. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR dips 7.0 to 6.7. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF climbs 5.2 – 5.9 – 6.4. Cox Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ is up 5.8 to 6.0. Public News/Talk 91.3 WLRN-FM sets a new station record high share up 3.3 – 4.1 – 5.1 – 5.6.

iHeartMedia Bilingual AC “Magic 93.9” WMIA-FM continues its upward momentu 4.4 – 4.8 – 5.4 for what Huff notes is its larges share since September 2009.

Cox Hip Hop “99 Jamz” WEDR is up 2.8 to 3.3. iHeartMedia Spanish CHR “Tu 94.9” WZTU is down 3.4 to 2.8 and sister Hip Hop “103.5 The Beat” WMIB trends down 2.8 – 2.5 – 2.0. Univision Spanish Rhythmic “Mix 98.3” WRTO falls 3.1 to 2.2.

Hope Media Group Christian AC “Way-FM” 88.1 WAYF jumps 0.3 – 0.8 – 1.6.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK surges up 5.8 – 6.4 – 7.9 for the largest share in station history. Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF is up 7.1 to 7.4. Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW holds at a 7.2 share. Audady Rock 99.9 KISW is up 5.3 to 5.6. Hubbard AC “Warm 106.9” KRWM is up 4.3 to 4.8.

Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV drops 4.9 to 3.9, while iHeartMedia CHR “Hits 106.1” KBKS is down 4.3 to 3.8.

Audacy Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP is up 3.1 to 3.7. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 The Jet” KJEB is down 4.2 to 3.7. Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD is down 4.8 to 4.3.

In their final monthlies ahead of their Country flips on April 1, Lotus Hot AC “Star 101.5” KPLZ was down 2.1 to 2.0. Hubbard AAA 98.9 KPNW-FM was down 0.8 to 0.6.

Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX is up 6.8 to 7.0 followed by sister Rock 97.9 KUPD dipping 5.3 to 5.0. Desert Valley Media Oldies “95.1/94.9 The Wow Factor” KOAI inches up 4.8 to 4.9. iHeartMedia Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT jumps 3.9 to 4.7.

Hubbard Alternative “Alt AZ 93.3” KDKB trends down 6.9 – 4.5 – 3.8 – 3.5. Bonneville News/Talk 92.3 KTAR-FM is down 2.7 to 2.2. Entravision Spanish Adult Hits “107.1 La Suavecita” KVVA drops 2.9 – 2.5 – 1.8.

iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 96.9” KMXP trends up 2.1 – 2.4 – 2.6 – 3.0. iHeart Country 102.5 KNIX slips 4.0 to 3.5 and Conservative Talk 550 KFYI is down 3.5 to 3.0.

Audacy Sports “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT-FM rises 7.1 to 7.5. iHeart CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI slips 7.3 to 6.7. Audacy Country 99.5 WYCD is up 6.5 to 6.6. Beasley’s duo of Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX (steady at 6.1) and Rock 101.1 WRIF (6.2 to 6.1) tie for fifth.

KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL jumps 4.8 to 5.9. iHeartMedia Alternative “Channel 93.3” KTCL continues its multi-month climb 4.2 – 4.4 – 5.0 – 5.5 – 5.7.
