Nielsen begins its monthly release of PPM ratings with today’s Day 1 update including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston/Galveston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Long Island, Riverside/San Bernardino, San Jose, and Middlesex/Somerset/Union.

New York

101.1 WCBS-FM New YorkiHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW rises 7.7 to 8.2. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM trends up 4.1 – 5.3 – 5.9 for its best share since January 2024. Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM holds at a 5.8 share with its stream up 0.7 to 0.8. Spanish Broadcasting System Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ is up 5.1 to 5.5 for its best share since Holiday 2022 and its stream adding an additional 0.7 share. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ dips 5.2 to 5.1.

iHeart CHR “Z100” WHTZ is up 4.6 to 5.0. MediaCo Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS is down 5.1 to 4.6. Audacy Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW swings 4.3 – 4.7 – 4.3.

Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC rises climbs 3.7 – 4.6 – 4.9. Audacy Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM is down 2.7 to 2.2.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM rises 1.9 – 2.2 – 2.7 for its best share since November 2022. MediaCo’s “Hot 97” WQHT inches up 2.2 to 2.4. Audacy Classic Hip Hop “94.7 The Block” WXBK is down 1.6 to 1.3.

Los Angeles

104.3 My-FM KBIG Los AngelesiHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST holds at a 6.1 share. Audacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH dips 5.8 to 5.6. iHeartMedia Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG trends up 4.2 – 5.0 – 5.2, while sister CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM is up 4.7 to 5.0. Audacy News 1070 KNX/97.1 KNX-FM dips 5.2 to 4.9.

Audacy Variety Hits “93.1 Jack-FM” KCBS-FM rises up 3.2 – 3.7 – 4.0 for its best share since September 2019. Meruelo Media Classic Rock 95.5 KLOS rises 3.0 – 3.5 – 3.7. iHeart Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR climbs 2.6 – 2.8 – 3.1 with Audacy’s 106.7 KROQ up 1.9 to 2.1.

Jazz 88.1 KKJZ rises 1.5 to 1.9 for its best showing since March 2023. AAA “The SoCal Sound” 88.5 KCSN/KSBR is up 0.4 – 0.6 – 0.9.

Chicago

670 The Score WSCR Chicago 780 WBBM ChicagoAudacy News 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS jumps up 5.9 to 6.8 for its largest share since February 2021, with its stream adding an additional 1.3 share.. iHeartMedia’s duo of Soft AC “93.9 Lite-FM” WLIT (up 4.2 to 5.0) and Adult R&B “V103” WVAZ (down 5.2 to 5.0) tie for second. Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV is off 4.8 to 4.7. Hubbard Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX is off 4.5 to 4.4 to tie for fifth with Nexstar News/Talk 720 WGN as it jumps up 3.4 to 4.4 for its best share since February 2022.

Audacy AAA 93.1 WXRT slips 4.8 to 4.3, while sister Country “US 99” WUSN drops 4.8 to 3.7.

iHeart CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” WKSC-FM trends up 2.9 – 3.6 – 3.7 for its best share since January 2023. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 105.1” WOJO gains 3.2 – 3.4 – 3.7. Cumulus Alternative “Q101” WKQX rises 2.3 – 2.6 – 2.9.

Public News/Talk 91.5 WBEZ-FM gains 2.3 – 3.0 – 3.4 for its best showing since March 2023. Audacy Sports “670 The Score” WSCR drops 2.7 to 1.9 with its stream holding at a 0.6 share.

Dallas/Fort Worth

96.7 1310 The Ticket KTCK Dallas CowboysCumulus Media Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK/96.7 KTCK-FM maintains its lead despite dropping 7.1 to 6.4. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO inches up 4.8 to 4.9. iHeartMedia AC “Star 102.1” KDGE is down 5.2 to 4.8. iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS-FM (up 4.3 to 4.6) and Audacy Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK (off 4.8 to 4.6) tie for fourth.

Cumulus’ “New Country 96.3” KSCS and iHeartMedia Hot AC “Mix 102.9” KDMX both rise 3.9 to 4.4. Audacy Alternative “Alt 103.7” KVIL rises 2.8 to 3.4. Service Broadcasting Hip Hop “K104” KKDA-FM is up 2.1 to 2.6.

In its first full month with the national “K-Love” network. Christian AC 94.9 KLTY holds at a 3.6 share for the third consecutive month. Future sister Worship “Air 1” 101.7 KYDA inches up 2.6 to 2.7. First Dallas Media Christian AC 90.9 KCBI-FM is up 2.2 to 2.4. Hope Media Group Christian AC “Way-FM” 89.7 KAWA dips 1.7 to 1.5.

San Francisco

740 KCBS 106.9 KFRC San FranciscoPublic News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM maintains its lead as drops 10.7 to 9.7. Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC trends up 6.4 – 6.9 – 7.2 for its best share since April 2023 with its stream up 0.3 to 0.5. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT holds at a 6.1. Classical 90.3 KDFC continues to drops from its December record high 5.2 to 4.6. Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ is up 3.9 to 4.2.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL rises 2.5 to 3.0. iHeart Hot AC “Star 101.3” KIOI trends up 2.4 – 3.1 – 3.4 and sister Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ rises 3.6 – 3.8 – 4.1.

Audacy Sports “95.7 The Game” KGMZ-FM rises 1.3 – 1.6 – 2.2. SBS Regional Mexican “La Raza 93.3” KRZZ falls 2.6 to 1.6.

Following the completion of its move exclusively to 810, Cumulus Conservative Talk KSFO is up 1.4 to 1.8, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the brand’s best share since September 2023.

Houston/Galveston

740 KTRH HoustoniHeartMedia AC “Sunny 99.1” KODA maintains its significant lead 8.9 to 9.0. Hope Media Group Christian AC 89.3 KSBJ rises 6.0 to 6.4. Radio One’s duo of Classic Rock “106.9/107.5 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT (5.6 to 6.0) and Country “93Q” KKBQ (down 6.9 to 6.0) tie for third and co-owned Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ inches up 5.7 to 5.8.

iHeartMedia Rock/Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM jumps up 4.6 to 5.4. Hip Hop “93.7 The Beat” KQBT is up 3.2 to 3.7.

iHeart News/Talk 740 KTRH continues its climb 3.4 – 4.6 – 4.9 for its best share since November 2021. Public News/Talk 89.7 KUHF trends down 4.2 – 3.8 – 3.3.

Univision Spanish AC “Amor 106.5” KOVE soars 3.0 to 4.2 for its largest share since December 2022. SBS’ newly launched Regional Mexican “La Ley 92.1” KROI rises 2.4 to 2.5, but Huff notes it is the largest share on the signal since Holiday 2014. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 102.9” KLTN continues its slide 3.1 to 2.5. MediaCo Regional Mexican “La Raza 98.5” KTJM slides 3.2 – 2.8 – 2.5. Audacy Spanish CHR “Mega 101” KLOL slides 3.5 – 2.8 – 2.4, Univision Spanish CHR “Latino Mix 104.9” KAMA is down 2.1 – 1.8 – 1.3.

Majic 107.5 WAMJ 97.5 WUMJ Atlanta Urban One Ryan CameronCox News/Talk 750 WSB/95.5 WSBB maintains its market lead narrowly with a 9.0 to 7.9 drop. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ climbs 6.5 – 6.8 – 7.8. Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV dips 8.0 to 7.5. Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE inches up 6.1 to 6.3. Cox Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR rises 5.4 to 6.2.

Cox AC “B98.5” WSB-FM gains 5.1 to 6.1. Audacy Rhythmic AC “Star 94” WSTR continues to dip 3.7 – 3.1 – 3.0. Public News/Talk 90.1 WABE-FM falls 4.8 to 3.5.

In its first full month with “Air 1“, 104.7 WAIA-FM drops 4.4 to 3.0. K-Love’s 106.7 WAKL continues to not subscribe.

iHeart Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL is off 3.7 to 3.6, while Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX rebounds 2.9 to 3.4.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “96.1 The Beat” WRDB rises 2.4 – 2.5 – 2.9. Radio One’s “Hot 107.9” WHTA slides 3.2 – 2.7 – 2.5.

Philadelphia

Alt 104.5 Radio WRFF Philadelphia Woody ShowBeasley Media Rock 93.3 WMMR reclaims the lead 7.2 – 7.6 – 8.2 with sister Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK up 6.7 – 7.8 – 8.0. Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP has a post-Super Bowl drop 9.8 to 7.5, while its stream is down 2.9 to 2.2. iHeartMedia Adult R&B 105.3 WDAS-FM inches up 6.6 to 6.6. Audacy News 1060 KYW/103.9 WPHI continues its climb 5.5 to 5.6 with its stream adding an additional 0.9 share.

Audacy AC “B101” WBEB drops 4.9 to 4.2. iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 104.5” WRFF surges up 1.9 – 2.2 – 4.2, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its largest share since July 2020.

Audacy Classic Hits “Big 98.1” WOGL trends up 2.2 – 3.1 – 3.5. AAA 88.5 WXPN continues its climb 2.0 – 2.4 – 2.7 – 2.9 – 3.3 for what Huff notes is an all-time record high share for the station.

Audacy Conservative Talk 1210 WPHT dips 2.8 to 2.6, but its stream trends up 0.8 – 1.0 – 1.3.

Connoisseur Media Soft AC “98.3 K-Joy” WKJY surges 3.6 – 4.5 – 5.6 for what Huff notes is its best since October 2009. Cox CHR 106.1 WBLI inches up 5.1 to 5.2.

Connoisseur Media Hot AC 97.5 WALK is up 4.8 to 5.1. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ dips 4.2 to 3.8. Connoisseur Media Rock “94.3 The Shark” WWSK rises 2.6 to 3.1, while sister Country “103.1 The Wolf” WWWF is down 3.5 – 2.4 – 2.1.

Anaheim Broadcasting Classic Hits 99.9 KOLA-FM is up 8.1 to 8.6. Univision Spanish AC “107.5 K-Love” KLVE gains 4.4 – 5.0 – 5.3. Audacy Country “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG climbs 3.0 – 3.4 – 3.9. Following its move to simulcasting on 103.9 KHTI after Christmas, Hot AC 101.3 KATY rises 0.6 – 1.4 – 1.6.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL rises 2.5 to 3.0. iHeart Hot AC “Star 101.3” KIOI trends up 2.4 – 3.1 – 3.4 and sister Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ rises 3.6 – 3.8 – 4.1.

Audacy Sports “95.7 The Game” KGMZ-FM rises 1.3 – 1.6 – 2.2. SBS Regional Mexican “La Raza 93.3” KRZZ falls 2.6 to 1.6.

Following the completion of its move exclusively to 810, Cumulus Conservative Talk KSFO is up 1.4 to 1.8, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is the brand’s best share since September 2023.
