After five months being displaced to 94.1 W231DH Gainesville/100.9 WXJZ-HD2, MARC Radio Hip Hop “Magic 101.3” WTMG Williston/Gainesville FL has returned to its regular frequency.
WTMG’s tower and equipment were destroyed by storms associated with Hurricane Helene last September. The company completed repairs and resumed operations on its primary frequency last week. Program Director Vinny Foo said, “We want to thank the community for following with us and sticking with us through all of this. I still have a friend who is waiting for his roof to get fixed from Hurricane Helene. Lots of people on the Gulf Coast are still dealing with this. We know the community followed us over to 94.1 and we want to thank our sister station for letting us borrow the signal. I know the community, especially in Ocala, which couldn’t receive 94.1, was really missing our station.”
While WTMG was operating on 94.1, it displaced sister Adult R&B “R&B 94.1” to just 980 WDVH Gainesville and streaming.
