Connoisseur Media has announced its team of format coordinators to serve under new SVP/Programming Keith Dakin.
The new format coordinators are:
Top 40 – Ben Davis. Davis continues to serve as Operations Manager for the company’s Louisville KY cluster and PD/morning co-host on CHR 99.7 WDJX.
Hot AC – Kevin Begley. Begley serves as PD/afternoon host at Hot AC “Star 99.9” WEZN Bridgeport CT and oversees the syndicated Anna & Raven morning show.
Urban/Rhythmic Top 40 – Darrick ‘BROWN’ Williams. Williams is Operations Manager of the company’s Columbia SC cluster.
News/Talk – Ross MacLeod. MacLeod recently joined then-Alpha as OM and PD for News/Talk 101.1 KXL Portland.
Country – Rob Kelley. Kelley is Operations Manager of the company’s Lincoln NE and Topeka KS clusters and previously held the same role for Alpha Media overseeing its Country stations.
Rock – Allan Lamberti. Lamberti is PD of Rock 99.1 WPLR New Haven and News/Talk 600/95.9 WICC Bridgeport CT.
The company also announced that Patrick Shea, Long Island Operations Manager, will be working with emerging technology and radio automation companies to “implement solutions that support efficiency and innovation across its markets”.
Dakin said, “These moves today will allow us to have a dedicated group of programmers that can work with our local markets, partners, vendors, and the record community on a one-to-one basis. The idea here is that we will always have someone who can fix a problem, answer a question, and, most importantly, make a decision. Radio, to stay relevant, needs to have empowered leaders that can make things happen fast. I believe today we have that team”.
