With the end of Townsquare Media’s “Taste of Country Mornings” hosted by Matthew Wood and Nicole Taylor, the company is splitting its affiliates between Premiere Networks’ “The Bobby Bones Show” and “Quick Country 96.5” KWWK Rochester MN’s Curt St. John and Samm Adams.
“Curt & Samm In The Morning” debuted on KWWK in October 2023 when Adams returned to the cluster after previously co-hosting mornings on CHR 106.9 KROC-FM from 2009 to 2020 and also hosting middays on KWWK from 2013 to 2019. St. John joined the station in 2012 as afternoon host and moved to mornings in 2016. Their show will now air on “US 104.9” KIIK Quad Cities IA/IL, “Kat Kountry 105” KRFO Faribault MN, “US 103.3” KUSB Bismarck ND, “Lonestar 99.5” KQBR Lubbock TX, “Lonestar 92.3” KNFM Odessa TX, “92.9 The Bull” KDBL Yakima WA, and “Y95” KCGY Laramie/Cheyenne WY. Prior to the launch of Taste of Country Mornings, St. John had been tracking mornings on KIIK, KNFM, KCGY, and KEKB Grand Junction CO.
“The Bobby Bones Show” will add nine new affiliates, some of which previously carried the show prior to Townsquare switching to their in-house morning show last year. The stations launching the show on Monday are 99.9 KEKB Grand Junction CO, “94.1 Kix Country” KKXK Montrose CO, 103.3 WJOD Dubuque IA, “Dakota Country 96.1” KYYZ Williston ND, 105.1 KEAN Abilene TX, “101.9 The Bull” KATP Amarillo TX, 97.5 KGKL San Angelo TX, “102.3 The Bull” KWFS Wichita Falls TX, and “Kissin 97.7” KYSN Wenatchee WA.
One station has yet to reveal its morning plans: 92.3 KWCD Sierra Vista AZ.
