Nielsen begins its monthly release of PPM ratings with Day 1 markets New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Long Island, Riverside/San Bernardino, San Jose, and Middlesex/Somerset/Union.

1010 WINS All News 92.3 WINS-FM New YorkiHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW slides 8.6 – 8.1 – 7.4. Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM rises 5.9 to 6.4 for the brand’s largest share since January/February 1972 and the largest for 92.3 since Summer 1982. iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ climbs 5.1 – 5.5 – 5.9. SBS Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ gains 4.5 to 5.2, but its stream slides 2.0 – 1.5 – 0.9. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM is up 4.8 to 5.0.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ slides 5.1 – 4.8 – 4.6 – 4.3. Audacy Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW is down 4.1 to 3.4.

Audacy Sports 660 WFAN/101.9 WFAN-FM is up 2.9 to 3.5 with its stream adding a 0.8 to 1.0 rise.

MediaCo Hip Hop “Hot 97” WQHT jumps 3.2 to 3.9 for its highest share since September 2018. iHeartMedia’s “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM rises 2.7 to 3.3. Audacy Rhythmic Throwbacks “94.7 The Block” WXBK is down 2.2 to 1.7.

SBS Spanish AC “93.1 Amor” WPAT-FM rises 2.0 to 2.6.

Los Angeles

K-Earth KRTH 101 101.1 Los AngelesAudacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH jumps up 7.3 to 8.3 to shatter the record high for the station breaking the 7.4 set in July. iHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST is up 5.5 to 5.7, while sister Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG drops 5.8 to 4.9. Audacy Rhythmic AC “94.7 The Wave” KTWV slips 4.8 to 4.2. iHeartMedia CHR 102.7 KIIS-FM rises 3.7 to 4.0.

Audacy News 1070 KNX/97.1 KNX-FM dips 4.3 to 3.8. iHeartMedia News/Talk 640 KFI drops 3.6 – 2.9 – 2.7 for its lowest share since Holiday 2019. iHeart’s “LA Sports 570” KLAC gets a Dodgers bump 1.5 – 1.7 – 2.2.

iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR climbs 2.8 – 3.1 – 3.6 for its best share since July 2010. Audacy’s 106.7 KROQ inches up 3.0 – 3.2 – 3.3.

Contemporary Worship “Air 1” 95.9 KAIA rises 0.6 to 1.1.

Audacy AAA 93.1 WXRT rises from seventh to second 4.2 to 4.6 with sister News 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS holding at a 4.4 share with its stream adding an additional 0.6 share and Country “US 99” WUSN up 3.7 to 4.2. Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV drops from first 5.0 to 4.2 to tie for fourth at its lowest share since December 2021.

Audacy Sports “670 The Score” WSCR rises 3.4 to 4.0. Nexstar Talk 720 WGN is down 4.3 to 3.6. Cumulus Conservative Talk 890 WLS rises 1.6 to 2.1 with its stream adding a 0.7 to 0.8 rise.

Classical California 90.3 KDFC San FranciscoPublic News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM retains the lead up 8.7 to 8.8, while Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC rises 8.3 to 8.7. Classical 90.3 KDFC climbs 4.6 – 5.3 – 5.7. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT is down for the fourth straight month 5.7 to 4.8. iHeartMedia Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ is off 4.8 to 4.6.

iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 94.9” KYLD is up 2.5 to 2.8. Sister Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL slides 3.6 – 3.1 – 2.8. “Classic Hits 103.7” KOSF is down 3.2 to 2.5.

Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE is up 5.9 to 6.1. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ drops 7.1 to 5.9, which ties with Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV as it is down 8.2 – 7.5 – 7.4 – 6.5 – 5.9 for its lowest share since Holiday 2020.

On the heels of Bert Weiss’ announcement of his then-impending retirement, Cumulus CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ rose 3.8 to 4.2 for its best share since November 2022.

Audacy Sports “92.9 The Game” WZGC climbs 2.2 – 2.7 – 3.4 – 3.9 into the heart of the football season.

Contemporary Worship “Air 1” 104.7 WAIA jumps 2.5 to 3.7. Sister “K-Love” 106.7 WAKL falls 5.2 – 4.7 – 3.2.

Classical California 90.3 KDFC San FranciscoPublic News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM retains the lead up 8.7 to 8.8, while Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC rises 8.3 to 8.7. Classical 90.3 KDFC climbs 4.6 – 5.3 – 5.7. Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT is down for the fourth straight month 5.7 to 4.8. iHeartMedia Soft AC “98.1 The Breeze” KISQ is off 4.8 to 4.6.

iHeartMedia CHR “Wild 94.9” KYLD is up 2.5 to 2.8. Sister Hip Hop 106.1 KMEL slides 3.6 – 3.1 – 2.8. “Classic Hits 103.7” KOSF is down 3.2 to 2.5.

Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE is up 5.9 to 6.1. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 107.5/97.5” WAMJ/WUMJ drops 7.1 to 5.9, which ties with Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV as it is down 8.2 – 7.5 – 7.4 – 6.5 – 5.9 for its lowest share since Holiday 2020.

On the heels of Bert Weiss’ announcement of his then-impending retirement, Cumulus CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ rose 3.8 to 4.2 for its best share since November 2022.

Audacy Sports “92.9 The Game” WZGC climbs 2.2 – 2.7 – 3.4 – 3.9 into the heart of the football season.

Contemporary Worship “Air 1” 104.7 WAIA jumps 2.5 to 3.7. Sister “K-Love” 106.7 WAKL falls 5.2 – 4.7 – 3.2.
