After a four and a half year absence, Greg ‘Fletch’ Fletcher is rejoining Saga Communications Country “Beaver 100.3” WVVR Hopkinsville KY/Clarksville TN as morning host.
Fletch will be accompanied by his wife Ruthanna as the couple returns to WVVR from Stonecom’s “106.9 Kicks Country” WKXD Cookeville, where they will also continue in mornings. He previously spent two decades at WVVR, fifteen of those in mornings from 2002 until 2022 when he exited to join the Grand Ole Opry. Fletch & Ruthanna will be the seventh morning show that WVVR has had since his departure.
Cluster Director of Content Ryan Ploeckelman commented, “Fletch has been a big part of Beaver’s history, and one of our most popular morning hosts. It is great to have him back, and with his wife Ruthanna as his co-host, the show has never been better.”
Program Director Dave Russell, who had been co-hosting mornings with Monica Reed, will move to middays at WVVR from 9am-2pm. He will continue to program WVVR, Classic Country “100.7 The Outlaw” W264CK/WCVQ-HD3, and add those responsibilities for Classic Hits “Rewind 94.3” WRND. Russell joined the cluster in March after programming stations across Pennsylvania in his career.
