Audacy Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX Baltimore continues its run of former local market personalities to guest co-host with Steve Kramer as Intern John and Shelby Sos will sit in with their former competitor for the week of September 28.
John and Sos were part of “Your Morning Show” on iHeartMedia’s duo of “Hot 99.5” WIHT Washington DC and “Z104.3” WZFT Baltimore until the show’s cancellation in April. John had previously been part of the Kane Show before rising to lead the ensemble in 2020. Sos would join the show in June 2023 after stints in middays at “Power 96.1” WWPW Atlanta, nights at WZFT, and serving as a producer on the Kane Show.
Kramer said, “For years, they were literally our competition. So the fact that we’re now going to be sitting in the same studio together is pretty surreal. More than anything, I’m just excited for Baltimore to hear them again and have some fun with us. Radio has a funny way of bringing people together. This is one of those things I never thought I’d get to announce, which is exactly why I think it’s going to be so much fun.””
Intern John and Sos are the third in a series of guest co-hosts since Jess Dutra departed at the end of August to relocate to Las Vegas. Former “V103” WXYV and “92Q” WERQ morning host Frank Ski and longtime WWMX morning host JoJo Girard have both also spent a week alongside Kramer so-far.
