[membership level="2,3"] A pair of changes are on their way to Sacramento. Townsquare Media bringing Free Beer & Hot Wings to Albany for a "Big Announcement". And something "Legendary" for Lima. Rhythmic CHR " Hot 103.5 " KHHM Sacramento and Country " 98.9 The Wolf " KCVR-FM Columbia/Modesto will soon debut a new Spanish Rhythmic format under the name " Fuego " as Entravision has registered Fuego1035.com and Fuego989.com . KCVR had just flipped to Country as a localized version of KNTY in March. While no domains have been registered, multiple sources indicate that Country " 101.9 The Wolf " KNTY Shingle Springs will also move to a Spanish language format likely simulcasting rimshot Regional Mexican " La Tricolor " 99.9 KRCX-FM Marysville. The three stations are among Entravision's only English language formatted stations along with a some in El Paso and McAllen TX. Syndicated morning hosts Free Beer & Hot Wings will be broadcasting live from a bar in Troy NY on Monday morning to make "a big announcement" regarding Classic Rock affiliate " Q103 " 103.5 WQBJ Cobleskill/103.9 WQBK-FM Rensselaer. That big announcement appears to be a move of the format to what is now Alternative " Alt 105.7 " WQSH Malta as Townsquare's registrar reserved Q1057.com and additional anonymous registrations were made for Q1057Albany.com and Q105Albany.com . WQSH is one of two " Alt " branded stations in the market that both launched within days of each other in March 2018 along with Pamal's " Alt 104.9 " WINU Altamont. In the most recent Nielsen Audio ratings trend, WQSH's 1.6 share led WINU's 0.8. Moving to 105.7 would improve the coverage for the Classic Rock format in the areas north of Albany. The 103.5/103.9 combination is better to the west where 103.5 reaches all the way to Utica and 103.9 serves areas to the south. No signs for what would replace Classic Rock on 103.5/103.9 should it move to the 105.7 signal, but perhaps a trimulcast is in the offerings. Woof Boom Radio has registered 985TheLegend.com for the upcoming translator for Sports 940 WCIT Lima OH indicating a flip to Classic Country to flank " 92.1 The Frog " WFGF.
