The Mile High Station Trust has flipped Classic Hits “Y103.9” WWYW Dundee, IL to Classic Rock “103.9 The Fox“.
The station, which had been running Tom Kent’s “24/7 Fun” network made the switch at 3:00pm with Jimi Hendrix’ “Foxy Lady” kicking off the new format. The station has applied for new WFXF call letters.
“103.9 The Fox” will feature a mostly local on-air lineup. Ben Herman joins the station for mornings. Ryan Wild, PD of sister AC “Star 105.5” WZSR will be PD of the Fox and host middays. JP will host afternoon drive and the syndicated Nights with Alice Cooper will be heard in the evening.
