While he played 15 years with the then-Los Angeles Rams, and went on to costar in the TV series "Little House On The Prairie" and "Father Murphy", Olsen was best known as a TV football analyst. He spent a decade as NBC's lead NFL analyst, working for most of that time alongside D**k Enberg. If my memory serves me correct, Olsen worked five Super Bowls for NBC, the first with Curt Gowdy and the other four with Enberg. I mean, I know the station is aiming squarely at females but to pretend no males registered for the contest is crazy. I ask because...well, because I'm a male who registered and I listen almost every day and I don' think I ever heard them call a man's name. And also because today, I couldn't tell whether the 1:00 name was "Tiff" or "Tim." I actually set up a calendar reminder to listen at 1:00 every weekday but the odds are stacked quite high against me so I think I'm gonna give up on t his particular $500 jackpot! haha. Very poor taste. Hopefully, Tyler Media will end-up giving 93.3 a different "brand" that won't be so offensive. Percentage of college grads as regular radio or tv listeners – Limbaugh: 37% CSPAN: 36% CNN: 28% MSNBC: 31% NPR: 38% National Average: 27% Note: Limbaugh with "37%" -that alone places the average of his listeners outside the college educated strata. "Percentage 50+ in age: Limbaugh:51%, not 67%" Note here that my remarks was "Limbaugh’s national listener average is a 67 year old white male w/high school education. " Either you misunderstand the difference between -percentage- and an age median..or..you are being purposefully deceptive. "Arbitron: Since 1991, Limbaugh has had the most-listened-to radio talk show in the United States...." The term; "most listened too"- is a marketing tool and means little in actual business terms. The -facts- are that Con-Talk stations often bill substantially less than straight new ot music formats in most markets -even with comparable 6+ shares. Here in NYC the two conservative N/T's WABC and WOR bill substantially less than other stations with comparable ratings: Here's the BIA list for 2008. figures are in millions. 1. WLTW $52.6 2. The shift slides KKNG from the 100kw Class C signal to a weaker 1kw Class A rimshot. All air personalities at KKNG are out as well including morning hosts Bill Thomas and K.C. Shepherd. KKNG has also removed all currents and recurrents from the music mix and gone completely Classic Country. As far as 93.3 goes, it appears the Variety Hits format formerly on 97.3 will return in a new form.
