Beasley sports WQAM/Miami midday host Neil Rogers has been suspended with pay following an unfortunate F-bomb that went out over the air during his Monday (May 18) show.
I promise I'm not an employee and I wouldn't work for these guys but WDJA, The former James Crystal owned station out of Delray Beach, flipped to all-talk PowerTalk 1420. Must've happened this week.

They flipped from Carribbean with brokered programming on nights and weekends.

-Mancow is now on mornings (6-10a)
- Local show The Radio View with Byron Eggers and Bradley McMayer (10a-12p) doing news and entertainment talk.
-Laura Ingraham (12-2p until she moves for Fred Thompson show that they'll air live here),
-Lou Dobbs (2-4p),
-Local host Phyllis Smith (brokered 4-6pm)
-Lars Larson (6-9p taped),
-Larry King Live (9-10 live simulcast)
-Sporting News Radio over night.

I called their programming folks and they plan to get rid of the sports for more talk and still plan to move some shows around.

Website is http://www.wdja.com and they have a listen live button.

MIAMI -- December 25, 2008: The coming of Christmas Day left radio with one less major-market Smooth Jazz outlet, as Clear Channel's WLVE (Love 94)/Miami returned from all-holiday programming at 10 a.m. with a new format: Rhythmic AC, as "93.9-FM MIA, Move to the Music." The station is launching commercial-free with core artists the Bee Gees, Madonna, Prince, Justin Timberlake, and Jennifer Lopez.

WLVE's former Smooth Jazz programming will soon be available on 93.9's HD2 subchannel, Olson said.
APMG increased the height of W270AD to 371 feet which gives them a nice blue coverage, but 19 watts does not make their red coverage area look too impressive.

Interesting, when I post the message, my color code gets rewritten from color=red to color=orange and the word "red" comes out orange! Oh well, W270AD's parent station uses a ton of orange on their web site, anyway!

....and it was on 980, not 1470.

WNN started in the Summer of 1987, and was the brainchild of Joe Nuckols (or was it spelled Nuchols?).

If you have a *really* good memory, then you remember WWHR ("WHR "Heart & Soul'"), which ran on 980 for a few months in between WNN, and "98 Gold", WBSS.....WHR ran from about January '87, until about the start of WNN that summer....Relay of SMN's "Motown & More" feed.
