WJOX-FM Sets New Midday Show

94.5 WJOX Birmingham Jox Jox-FMFollowing the move of the JOX Roundtable from middays to mornings earlier this month, Cumulus Sports 94.5 WJOX-FM Birmingham has announced the addition of Cole Cubelic, Aaron Suttles and Landrum Roberts for middays starting Monday, March 26.

Cole Cubelic joins WJOX-FM from mornings at Cumulus’ “730 The Ump” WUMP Huntsville. The former Auburn football player also works for ESPN’s SEC Network. Aaron Suttles is the University of Alabama beat reporter for the Tuscaloosa News and Landrum Roberts has been hosting weekends at WJOX-FM.

The station has also announced the return of Pat Smith as Assistant Program Director. Smith, the co-creator and former network director for the Paul Finebaum Radio Network, most recently had been co-hosting mornings at short-lived Sports “99.1 The Game” W256CD Fultondale/Birmingham.

Jox 94.5 is proud to announce our new midday show from 10 am – 2 pm!

Cole Cubelic, Aaron Suttles and Landrum Roberts will be joining WJOX and hosting a brand new show weekdays from 10-2.

Also, Pat Smith is joining the station as Assistant Program Director. The co-creator and former director of the Paul Finebaum show re-joins Jox 94.5 continuing a long career in sports radio. He is also the voice of the Husky Fast Network with Hewitt-Trussville athletics. You can follow him on Twitter @patsmithradio.

Cole Cubelic joins Jox 94.5 after hosting mornings on our sister station, 730 The Ump in Huntsville. He is a Homewood native, and former Auburn University offensive lineman. He has also been a part of ESPN’s college football coverage on the SEC Network. Follow him on Twitter @colecubelic.

Aaron Suttles covers the University of Alabama for the Tuscaloosa News and is one of the top names to follow when it comes to covering the athletics program. You can always keep up with the latest from the Alabama program by following Aaron on Twitter @AaronSuttles.

Landrum Roberts joins the midday slot after having hosted Jox Gameday on Saturdays. Landrum is a sports media veteran who has worked for CBS Sports, been a play-by-play for voice for Birmingham-Southern athletics and more. You can follow him on Twitter @LandrumRoberts.

John SaBerre will shift from The Roundtable to this new show as well. You can follow him @JohnSayBear.
