Following the local cancellation of the Steve Harvey Morning Show by Service Broadcasting Urban AC “Smooth R&B 105.7” KRNB Decatur/Dallas at the end of August, the station will debut a new “Morning Rush” hosted by Rudy Rush and Claudia Jordan on Monday, September 24.
Rush most recently served as afternoon host at iHeartMedia Urban “93.7 The Beat” KQBT Houston. He previously served as co-host of the syndicated Doug Banks Show from 2005-2013 and briefly became lead host of the rebranded “Afternoon Rush” after Banks’ passing in 2016. The touring stand-up comedian also hosted television’s Showtime At The Apollo from 2000 until 2008.
Jordan, a former beauty pageant contestant and Deal or No Deal and Price Is Right model, also previously served as a contestant on two seasons of Celebrity Apprentice and as a castmember on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She also served as a co-host on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and hosted her own show on SiriusXM.
