After being replaced in mornings at Connoisseur Media Hot AC 97.5 WALK-FM Patchogue NY by a simulcast of WEZN Bridgeport CT’s “Anna And Raven”, Jamie Morris has moved to sister AC “98.3 K-Joy” WKJY Hempstead.
Morris joined WALK-FM in October 2016 after previously serving as a traffic reporter and fill-in host for iHeartMedia New York. She replaces Kara Reifert in mornings at WKJY. Reifert told Newsday that she was offered a lateral move to a fill-in postion within the cluster but has not decided whether to accept.
WKJY rebranded back to its heritage “K-Joy” moniker in May 2019 with a move to a softer music presentation.
