iHeartMedia Country “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas has appointed former Alpha Media Country format captain MoJoe Roberts as Program Director.
Roberts joined Alpha’s “98.7 The Bull” KUPL Portland as PD in March 2016 after spending fourteen years programming Cumulus Media’s CHR’s in Modesto CA. Roberts added the role of Country Format Captain in February 2018 until his exit this past April. He previously worked in Country at KXDD Yakima, KQFC Boise and KATM Modesto.
Roberts succeeds Wayne ‘Big D’ Danielsen, who moved to afternoons at 97.9 WSIX Nashville in June.
iHeartMedia Las Vegas announced today that Mojoe Roberts has been named Program Director for 95.5 The Bull, Las Vegas’ New Country Leader, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Las Vegas has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing four stations comprised of music formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As program director, Mojoe will work closely with the station’s on-air personalities and sales team to oversee the brand’s on-air and digital platforms as well as local events and partnerships. Mojoe will report to Tony Matteo, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Las Vegas.
Prior to accepting the position as program director for 95.5 The Bull, Mojoe served as the format captain for Alpha Media and program director and personality at KUPL-FM in Portland, Oregon for four years. His background also includes nearly two decades of experience with Cumulus Media at KHOP-FM in Modesto, California, KWIN-FM and KATM in Stockton, California and KQFC in Boise, Idaho.
