Cumulus Media Alternative “96.9 The Fox” WWWX Oshkosh/Appleton WI has promoted Robert ‘Max’ Dye to Program Director.
Dye has served as Music Director/Imager/afternoon host since joining the station in 2017. He previously served as OM for WQDC/WLGE Sturgeon Bay WI, PD/MD/morning host for WKRU Green Bay, and midday host at WWWX and former simulcaster 107.5 WXWX Green Bay.
He assumes the programming duties from former Operations Manager Dayton Kane. The remainder of Kane’s former duties went to newly hired OM Brian Davis.
CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has promoted Robert “Max” Dye to Program Director for Alternative Rock station WWWX-FM/96.9 The Fox in Appleton/Oshkosh, WI. A 20-year radio broadcasting veteran, Max joined WWWX-FM as Music Director, Imager and Afternoon On-Air Host in 2017. Prior to that, he was Operations Manager/Production Director for WQDC-FM and WLGE-FM in Sturgeon Bay, WI, and was Program Director, Music Director and Morning On-Air Host for WKRU-FM in Green Bay, WI, following 7 years as Midday On-Air Host, Imager and Webmaster for WWWX-FM and WXWX-FM. Max holds a B.A. degree in Communications from Otterbein University.
