After being jockless in mornings for years, Cox Media Group Hip Hop “Power 106.1” W291CI/WJGL-HD2 Jacksonville FL will add Compass Media Networks’ “DeDe in the Morning” starting Monday, June 13.
The KKDA-FM Dallas based show will be heard weekdays from 5-10am.
Compass Media Networks announces the addition of Cox Media Group (CMG) “Power 106.1” in Jacksonville FL to the “DeDe in the Morning” family from 5AM -10AM weekdays and Saturday mornings with DeDe’s Weekend Kickback.
Elroy Smith, CMG Director of Branding and Programming for Orlando & Jacksonville, states “I have followed DeDe’s career since her days in Chicago at Windy 100.3 and her riveting co-anchoring of the syndicated show with the late Doug Banks. Compass Media Networks officially launched DeDe in the Morning in partnership with Service Broadcasting K104/Dallas, TX in July 2018. The show is now heard in over 60 markets including Dallas, Chicago, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, New Orleans, New Haven, Austin, Oklahoma City, and Toledo. This is the first CMG station to welcome the program to its line-up.
