The fourth and final day of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases for the month bring Austin, Raleigh/Durham, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Providence, Norfolk, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, Memphis, and Hartford.

Lucy 93.3 Austin KGSRWaterloo Media Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA rises 9.8 to 10.6 to hold an over four share lead. Public News/Talk 90.1 KUT-FM is up 5.7 to 5.9. Audacy AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ trends down 6.7 – 5.9 – 5.2. Waterloo Regional Mexican “La Z 107.1” KLZT trends up 4.3 – 4.7 – 5.0 and their News/Talk 590/99.7 KLBJ rises 4.2 to 4.9.

Waterloo Media Hot AC “Lucy 93.3” KGSR jumps 1.7 – 2.3 – 3.4 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its highest share since September 2015 under its former AAA format.

iHeartMedia Country 100.7 KASE is down 4.8 to 3.4, while sister CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI trends down 3.8 – 3.5 – 3.1. University of Texas AAA 98.9 KUTX continues its slide 4.9 – 3.5 – 2.8.

Genuine Austin Radio Sports “104.9 The Horn” KTXX trends up 1.4 – 2.5 – 2.9, while sister Alt Country 98.5/99.3 KOKE-FM rises 1.1 to 1.6.

Raleigh/Durham

106.1 FM Talk WTKK RaleighiHeartMedia Conservative Talk “Talk 106.1” WTKK rises 8.8 to 9.1 which Huff notes breaks the format high set last month and is the highest on the frequency since Winter 1982. Public News/Talk 91.5 WUNC-FM rises 7.4 to 7.9. Radio One Adult R&B “Foxy 107.1/104.3” WFXC/WFXK dips 6.7 to 6.6. Capitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM continues to trend down 10.2 – 8.7 – 7.4 – 6.3. iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WRDU rebounds 5.9 to 6.2.

Capitol Broadcasting Sports “99.9 The Fan” WCMC-FM trends up 1.3 – 2.0 – 2.5. iHeartMedia Classic Hip Hop “95.3 The Beat” WDCG-HD2 rises 1.9 – 2.0 – 2.5.

A bad trend for Top 40 as iHeart’s “G105” WDCG slides 3.3 – 2.7 – 2.4 (which Huff notes is the lowest on the frequency since Fall 1977) and Curtis Media’s “Pulse-FM” 102.5 WPLW/96.9 WWPL is down 2.4 – 1.8 – 1.5.

Indianapolis

104.5 WJJK Indianapolis Classic HitsCumulus Media Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK rises 11.2 to 12.0 to extend its lead. Radio One News/Talk 93.1 WIBC slips 9.9 to 8.8. Radio One AC “B105.7” WYXB inches up 7.9 to 8.0. Cumulus Country 95.5 WFMS rises 5.8 to 6.7. Sarkes Tarzian AAA 92.3 WTTS dips 5.4 to 5.2.

Following its move from 96.3 in August, Radio One Hip Hop “Hot 100.9” WHHH jumps up 1.9 to 3.3. iHeartMedia’s relaunched Classic Alternative “Indy 103.3” WOLT continues to rise 2.0 – 2.6 – 2.7.

Classical 88.7 WICR drops 3.0 – 2.3 – 1.2.

Nashville

104.5 The Zone WGFX NashvilleMidwest Communications Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” WCJK continues to slide 10.4 – 9.6 – 9.0 – 8.3. Cumulus Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX surges up 3.5 – 6.1 – 7.9 with the start of the football season and Huff noting is just two tenths off the station record set in October 2015. Cumulus Classic Country “95.5 Nash Icon” WSM-FM rises 6.2 to 7.6. Midwest AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA inches up 6.8 to 6.9. iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” WSIX trends up 5.9 – 6.4 – 6.6.

Way Media WayFM FMHubbard takes four of the top five slots. Hot AC 97.9 WRMF drops 10.5 to 8.9. iHeartMedia AC “Kool 105.5” WOLL is down 7.1 to 6.6. Hubbard’s Classic Hits “Sunny 107.9” WEAT rises 5.8 to 6.4, while Adult R&B “X102.3” WMBX dips 6.2 to 6.0 and “New Country 103.1” WIRK rises 4.0 to 4.3.

Hope Media Group Christian AC “88.1 Way-FM” WAYF jumps up 1.6 – 1.8 – 3.4. iHeartMedia Spanish CHR “Mia 94.3” WRLX rises 1.3 to 2.3.
