iHeartMedia R&B Oldies 1070 WDIA Memphis has announced the appointment of Tracy Bethea as Program Director succeeding the late Bobby O’Jay.
Bethea also serves as PD/afternoon host of Gospel “95.7 Hallelujah-FM” WHAL and Mid-South Region Brand Coordinator of Gospel for the company. She began her career at WDIA in 1987 as host of the station’s Gospel programming before moving to “990 The Light” KWAM in 1997. She joined WHAL at its launch in 2002 rising to APD/MD and then Program Director in 2014.
