Cumulus Media Country “93.3 The Bull” KUBL Salt Lake City has announced the addition of ‘Jesse James’ as morning host.
James joins KUBL from Radio FM Media where he has served as PD/morning host at Hot AC “Big 98.7” KLTA Fargo since July 2012. He previously hosted mornings at Country “Y100” KCYY San Antonio from 2010-2012 and “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Denver from 2006-10. He has also worked at WMIL Milwaukee, WNCY Green Bay and WZEE Madison WI during his career. His son Alek Halverson serves as Program Director for iHeartMedia’s KAJA and KXXM San Antonio.
A search for James’ co-host is still ongoing. He replaces Lexi Papadopoulos and Jared ‘Banks’ Danielson in mornings at KUBL following their exit last month.
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed radio personality Jesse James as On-Air Host, Mornings, on Salt Lake City Country radio station, 93.3 The Bull/KUBL-FM. James will be heard on 93.3 The Bull weekdays from 6:00am-10:00am. He debuts on 93.3 The Bull in mid-March, as the search continues for the best Co-Host to complete the morning show team.
This marks a return to Country radio for Jesse James, who previously hosted Mornings on Country stations 92.5 The Wolf/KWOF-FM in Denver, CO, and Y100/KCYY-FM in San Antonio. He was also on-air at Country-formatted FM 106.1/ WMIL-FM in Milwaukee. James joins Cumulus Media from Radio FM Media, where he was Morning Host and Brand Manager for Hot AC station Big 98.7/KLTA-FM in Fargo, ND, for over a decade.
