The cuts continue across the industry with a pair of significant names departing competing R&B outlets in Birmingham AL.
At Cumulus Media’s “Hot 107.7” WUHT, Tasha Simone has exited as Program Director and midday host. Simone has hosted middays at WUHT since 2005 and rose to PD in January 2022. She also has been hosting nights on Westwood One’s “The Touch” 24/7 R&B format. Simone worked for Cox’s Birmingham cluster earlier in her career and served as a contributor to WERC-TV from 2006 to 2011. She can be reached at [email protected].

Across town at SummitMedia, the Birmingham News reports that Kim Moore resigned from SummitMedia’s “98.7 Kiss-FM” WBHK Warrior after 25 years in nights at the end of October.
