iHeartMedia Sports “95.3 WDAE” 620 WDAE St. Petersburg/W237CW Pinellas Park FL is adding Fox Sports Radio network programming for nights and weekends starting Monday, December 23.

WDAE, which already carries FSR’s Dan Patrick Show from 9am-12pm and Colin Cowherd from 12-3pm, will air the network from 7pm to 6am weekdays and in most weekend dayparts around play-by-play coverage. It replaces ESPN Radio. Shows added to the weekday schedule include “The Odd Couple with Kelvin Washington & Rob Parker,” “The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon,” and “The Ben Maller Show.”

Buried in the announcement is that Nick Wize has been promoted to Program Director of WDAE following the exit of John Mamola in the company’s November layoffs. Wize, who had been co-hosting a weekend show on WDAE, also continues as APD/afternoon host at sister CHR 93.3 WFLZ. Wise joined WFLZ in June 2019 after previously serving as APD for three iHeartMedia stations in Tucson and afternoon host at CHR “93.7 KRQ” KRQQ. He has also served as APD of CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI Detroit and worked on-air at “98.7 Amp Radio” WDZH Detroit, “97.9 Kiss-FM” WKSL Jacksonville and “Hot 107.9” WPFM Panama City.
