The Broadcasters Foundation of America, the only charity that provides aid to broadcasters in critical need, is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Leadership Awards, the Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award, and the Chairman’s Award. The Awards will be presented at the BFOA Annual Breakfast, Wednesday, April 9, at 7 am, in the Encore Resort during the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Leadership Awards are given annually in recognition of career contributions to the broadcast industry and the community at large.

The Lowry Mays Excellence in Broadcasting Award is bestowed annually on an individual in broadcasting whose work exemplifies innovation, community service, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.

Scott Herman, former COO, CBS Radio, and Chair, Broadcasters Foundation of America

The Chairman’s Award is bestowed on an individual in recognition of their contribution to the broadcast industry.
