Marquee Broadcasting Country “Highway 103.7” WZVL Philo/Zanesville OH has announced the arrival of Rick Sabine as morning host.

Sabine was previously co-owner and morning host of Classic Hits “Y107.3” WYBZ Crooksville from 1990 until 2023.

Sabine told co-owned WHIZ-TV, “Well, I’ve been in the radio business since about the mid-70’s and I was in Circleville. I’ve been to Chillicothe and here in Zanesville and radio is not just a profession for me. It’s almost like a hobby. Sometimes, it’s even therapy just to get into the studio, sit behind a mic. To me, it’s all about the music and having fun and I like especially morning radio. Getting out of bed that early isn’t a big thrill but it’s just a good time that you can communicate with the listener. I mean you got the music but there’s just little things you like to remind them of,” Sabine said. “Road conditions if it’s winter time, or the weather and those kind of things and have some giveaways and just help someone get their morning off to a good start.”
