Red Apple Audio Networks is relaunching Tony Orlando’s Saturday late-night show on 770 WABC New York as a two hour weekly syndicated show.
Relaunched as “Rockin’ the Decades with Tony Orlando“, the show will focus on music from the 1960s through 80s. Orlando commented, “Music has a way of bringing us back to the moments that matter most, and I’m excited to share that journey with listeners across the country. Rockin’ the Decades is more than just great songs — it’s the stories, the memories, and the feelings that never fade. We’re going to celebrate the soundtrack of our lives every weekend.”
Orlando has been hosting weekly music shows at WABC since 2020 originally heard on Saturday nights from 10pm to 12am. The revamped show is described as “designed to deliver familiarity, energy, and broad appeal across multiple demos. It is the kind of programming that fits seamlessly into weekends or evenings, giving stations a polished, high-quality show anchored by a name audiences already know and trust. Each week’s program will feature “Tony’s Song Spotlight,” a behind-the-scenes look at one of rock and pop’s favorite hits.”
Red Apple Media President Chad Lopez commented, “Rockin’ the Decades with Tony Orlando is a personality-driven experience built around timeless hits, storytelling, and connection. With his unmistakable charm and decades of experience in the music and broadcast industries, Tony brings every decade to life.”
