iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 107.3” KTHR Wichita KS has appointed Jacob ‘Tight Pants’ Bowling as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and Afternoon host.
Bowling returns to Wichita from hosting nights at sister “Z107.7” KSLZ St. Louis. He will continue to track nights at “107.5 Kiss-FM” KKDM Des Moines. He began his career in his hometown at iHeartMedia Wichita working in promotions and production before moving to nights at “Channel 96.3” KZCH.
iHeartMedia Wichita announced today that Jacob “Tight Pants” Bowling has been named Assistant Program Director, Music Director and Afternoon Personality for ALT 107.3, Wichita’s Alternative Rock, effective November 20, 2017. iHeartMedia Wichita has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing four stations comprised of various music formats.
iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. “Tight Pants” will broadcast from 2 – 7 p.m. on ALT 107.3, including a variety of Alternative Rock hits from artists such as Twenty One Pilots, blink-182, Foo Fighters and others. As Assistant Program Director and Music Director of ALT 107.3, he will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the station and its music programming. He will report to Jim Dorman, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Wichita.

“Tight Pants” returns to the Wichita market from iHeartMedia St. Louis, where he most recently served as the Night Host on Z107.7, STL’s #1 Hit Music Station. He will also continue to broadcast from 7 – midnight on 107.5 KISS FM, Des Moines #1 Hit Music Station. He began his career with iHeartMedia Wichita as a Promotions Assistant and is a graduate of Wichita State University.
