Jill Kempton Joins WASH Washington As Program Director
iHeartMedia continues its revamp of the programming department at its Washington DC cluster with the appointment of Jill Kempton as Program Director of AC 97.1 WASH Washington.
Kempton has spent the past five and a half years as Assistant PD/Music Director/Imaging Director for AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW New York after also working for eight years at Jerry Lee Broadcasting AC “B101” WBEB Philadelphia.
She takes the WASH programming reins from Tommy Chuck, who programmed WASH and sister CHR “Hot 99.5” WIHT until moving to Tampa as Senior VP/Programming earlier this month. Rob Cruz was appointed WIHT Program Director yesterday.
